Hi,
I have a text box control that I want to add read only characters to. I think
that using the drawText function would work well. However there are 2 issues
holding this back:
1. The clear function does not permanently clear the text drawn with drawText.
For example, I start a simple app with only a textbox and in the command
window. I exectute the drawText function on the text box. The text
is drawn as expected. I think execute the clear command. The drawn text is
cleared. However if I re-size the window, the cleared text would reappear.
2. Is there a simple way of getting the drawText function to draw in the same
font, position as the native textbox font?
I apologize in advance as I don't think these are dabo specific questions, but
I didn't know where else to ask.
