Could this be a issue with having used the AppWizard? Should I just create everything myself with the class designer, etc?
Also, I looked in the code and am not sure where the data gets loaded from the db to make the gui and display it, maybe in there I would assume I would need to adjust things to make the full data show up correctly? I get data like 0.0100 when I should be seeing 0.0084. I am thinking maybe the data when it gets pulled in is just rounding it up rather than showing a straight float? Looked around a bit but do not see where or how that data is set. Also, on the edit tab now the data is still shown as a precision 2 rather than 4 in each editfield. Thanks. ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of RUSSELL Thomas Sent: Thursday, April 26, 2012 10:12 AM To: Dabo Users list Subject: Re: [dabo-users] Precision Value in Grid Column Ok that did it then. I saw that code before but was not sure I could add that parameter in or not. Thanks, Tom Russell Test/Software Engineer 1025 John St. W. Oh, sorry - I thought you had said you were using the Class Designer. AppWizard code isn't designed to be run through any of the tools once it is generated - you edit it with a text editor. Find the file named 'Grd<your table>.py' in the app's 'ui' directory, and in that file look for the line that adds the column for the value whose precision you want to set. Add the argument for precision as follows: self.addColumn(dabo.ui.dColumn(self, DataField="foo", Caption="Foo", Sortable=True, Searchable=True, Editable=False, Precision=4)) -- Ed Leafe _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/dabo-users Searchable Archives: http://leafe.com/archives/search/dabo-users This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/[email protected] ________________________________ CONFIDENTIALITY : This e-mail and any attachments are confidential and may be privileged.
