The biggest issue you are dealing with - is the fact that you are using a very
old version of Dabo with python 2.7. So before you continue it would be best
if you upgraded Dabo. Although, there are other ways of installing Dabo I
recommend that you use SVN to retrieve the latest versions of Dabo.

Near the bottom. Note: it will require that you install SVN on your system.
You will get the Dabo 9.4 release and I know it works with python 2.7.
