I have no idea what's going on, but maybe if you turned on db logging
it might reveal a clue as to what the problem is.
In your home directory, create a file named 'settings_override.py', and
in it add the line:
dbLogFile = "/path/to/your/log/file"
...substituting an actual path. The file will be created if it doesn't yet
exist.
Run the app, and after the failure, open up that file, and copy the
line(s) for the INSERTs and include them in your reply.
