I have started moving my code to Dabo 0.9.9 and discovered a very pleasant

similar
return times. So it is in the Dabo code.
What version were you moving from, and what specifically is faster?
moved from 0.9.4 and screen updates (data gets to the controls much
faster). The time to retrieve the data stayed the same - reading from
the logs.
I had to make several small changes [self.super() to super(cls, self)] and a few
other
minor changes to code.
Did the error messages help you know what to do I hope? That was my intent...
Great job.
python 2.7.x
wxpython 2.8.12.1
Dabo 0.9.9
openSUSE 12.x
windows
I'm moving from Python 2.7.3 to 2.7.4 right now. There were some
performance-related
things backported to 2.7.4 so if that's the version you are running your better
performance could be coming from Python and not Dabo.
Glad to hear you are happy!
Paul
Actually still running 2.7.2 but I'll check into the 2.7.4 on windows.
