Hello,
after copying my Dabo applications from a virtual machine running
Xubuntu (with XFCE 4 as desktop manager) to another one running KDE on
openSUSE, all my dDateTextBox instances are just a little bit too small.
So I looked into the dDateTextBox part of the DaboDemo and it seems that
that control doesn't adapt its width to a changing font size. In the
original demo font size, height and width are set explicitly. I took
height and width out and varied the font size. Result: the height is
always just right for the font, the width doesn't change and so the date
may not be completely visible.
With XFCE the width is just right for the standard font and so I never
saw a problem, with KDE it's not quite right. But in both cases no
adaptation to a changed font size.
This seems wrong, doesn't it?
Platform: GTK
Python Version: 2.7.3 on linux2
Dabo Version: 0.9.11
UI Version: 2.8.12.1 on wxGTK (gtk2)
This is Suse. On the Xubuntu machine it's Python 2.7.4, everything else
the same.
Thank you for help,
Sibylle
