Hello,
a new problem using the class designer on Linux:
Starting ClassDesigner with the name of an existing .cdxml file:
sib@gespenst-suse:~/bin/einkauf> ~/src/dabo-master/ide/ClassDesigner.py
./wahlpanel.cdxml
2013-10-22 16:32:50 - ERROR - Die Schriftart 'Sans Serif' existiert auf
diesem System nicht.
(Translation: the font 'Sans Serif' doesn't exist on this system. Which
seems nonsense, isn't that one of the fonts which should always be there?)
Starting ClassDesigner without command line arguments:
sib@gespenst-suse:~/bin/einkauf> ~/src/dabo-master/ide/ClassDesigner.py
Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/56-user.conf", line 9: reading
configurations from ~/.fonts.conf is deprecated.
Opening the saved class:
2013-10-22 17:40:37 - ERROR - Die Schriftart 'Sans Serif' existiert auf
diesem System nicht.
Platform: GTK
Python Version: 2.7.3 on linux2
Dabo Version: 0.9.13
UI Version: 2.8.12.1 on wxGTK (gtk2)
This is OpenSuse with KDE4. The fontconfig warning appears also when I
start a Dabo application.
Xubuntu (XCFE):
Platform: GTK
Python Version: 2.7.5+ on linux2
Dabo Version: 0.9.13
UI Version: 2.8.12.1 on wxGTK (gtk2)
Starting ClassDesigner and then opening the saved class produces the
error message about the missing font "Sans Serif", but not the
fontconfig warning.
Working with the class designer is possible, but rather uncomfortable.
I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the font problem and I'll
have to take more notes about the problems I encountered last.
Thank you for help and information
Sibylle
