I had to do a few hacks to make it work with 5.005_03 too. %-)
I also made the beginnings of an "installer" for the thing that
generates a Policy.sh and such. It should be a three step process
like
1) download
2) run
3) there's no step three
to have any chance at getting lots of testers.
If we have lots of testers we can make the smoke script query a
central server for what tests to run, then the people with p4 access
(or whoever) can login and request tests to be done.

I by far prefer the "filtering the noise". If it doesn't work out
we can always go the other way.
