ccache? Will investigate.

Agreed. Definitely disable for -n32 and IRIX 6.5; dunno yet on -32 or
earlier versions, although I suspect earlier versions of IRIX will be the
same - -32 may make a diffference. I also don't know what will happen with
gcc on IRIX.
