Retail sales grow more than expected
U.S. retailers' sales rose a bigger-than-expected 0.6 percent in September as 
gasoline stations turned in their strongest growth since May, the Commerce 
Department said on Friday in a report that suggested consumers kept spending 
despite a slumping housing market.
