Immunity is hosting a conference in Miami Beach in April that focuses on
offensive
operations and *you* are invited. https://www.immunityinc.com/infiltrate.shtml .

A while back I was talking to a hacker I knew and he said this:

When you first start hacking, you get a cool exploit, and you're like "I have a
sword!" and you hack lots of machines. Eventually, your skills improve and you
think
to yourself, "I can make swords" and it's around this time that you spend some
time
learning how to write trojans and rootkits. And after enough hacking, you learn
strategy, and once into a network you are impossible to kick out. You pick your
targets carefully, and spend years preparing, and you wake up every morning
thinking
"I am a sword". Then you retire from hacking, and you become someone who "trains
people how to make swords", or you "facilitate an environment where swords are
made",
or, god forbid, you "think you know how to defend against swords".

Infiltrate will be different from any conference you've ever been to. For
example, we
don't have any sponsors, so we can feel free to use "real-world examples".

Immunity is also offering Infiltrate training - which is now the only place to
receive the advanced heap overflow and kernel exploitation classes. We've
rolled them
up into what we like to call the Immunity Master Class, which is what our
internal
exploit developers and bug finders go through (in fact, many of them will be
sitting
next to you when you take this class).

We hope you like it!
