There are a lot of similarities between Android kernel exploitation and normal
Linux
Kernel exploitation. I.E. For those of you who watched the Android video, it's
very
much "just another Linux". But user perceptions of it are different, and it's
running
on ARM, which is different. And it's got a hardware and software stack and usage
model that's very different from what most Linux users are used to. That makes
exploitation different. F.E. normally, you don't have to care about battery
usage
levels when writing exploits...

So if you're an offensive team putting together an Android Exploitation
program, you
should come to the Android Exploitation talk Bas and Massimiliano are giving at
INFILTRATE 2011 here in Miami Beach in April.

You're going to want to book before January 30th though!
