https://vimeo.com/182118990 Web Powershell Channel <https://vimeo.com/181992289> Ant colonies used to be very small. Some of the features Ants needed to develop (specialized genes for controlling size in various castes of the colony, for example) took eons to evolve. Likewise, the algorithms that drive large ant colonies are hugely complex - they are quite intelligent, in other words. People think Ants are sort of like tiny drones, but each one has a huge brain in that head, and uses a lot of its energy to power it. Initially most ant colonies were like, ten ants. And there are still lots of species that operate that way. But your average modern Harvester colony has about 4000 ants and has dug a nest about as tall as a human.
