Dow industrials surge to new record high
Wall Street extended its October rally Monday, with the Dow Jones industrial
average chalking up a triple-digit gain and crossing 12,100 for the first time,
as investors grew more optimistic about upcoming earnings reports and welcomes
a decline in oil prices.
