Sometimes there are human-rights actions that simply cry to heaven for justice and for our prayers, our help and attention. Repeatedly, I have posted articles on our Meditation website about the persecution of Christians in Sudan. Catholic bishops and a few other leaders have tried to bring this before the general public; but the situation has become even worse than before. Consider these facts: Even though the holocaust in Sudan has been horrific, it is now worsening. Two million are already dead. Now, 3 million more Sudanese in the South are at the brink of starvation. Millions will likely die this summer unless we take action now!
