REQUEST FOR MEMBERSHIP IN OUR GROUP
Dear brother/sister in Islam, Assalam o alekum, Islam is a religion of peace. Muslims, as followers of this noble religion, naturally believe in peace. But, unfortunately , in the recent past this great religion and these noble people have been accused of violence. Efforts are being made to defame a whole nation. It is , therefore, duty of the followers of Islam and those who believe in peace to come forward and defeat this conspiracy. An effort is being made in this regard by certain concerned Muslim citizens of India. They have launched a website www.muslimsforpeaceonline.com . The website intends to collect all ayats, hadiths and sayings of eminent Islamic personalities against violence. The site will also collect statements of as many Muslims as possible against violence. The site also intends to catalogue the Muslim heritage around the world. An effort is also being made to build bridges, understand others and present our view point. The site is in its infancy and will grow gradually. I hope that this site will be able to serve the Ummah.
