On this topic, perhaps someone who has written a non-trivial, open-source Dancer app--big enough to have to split up code into numerous modules--could write a walkthrough of the basics of their application. When I was getting to grips with Dancer, I searched GitHub for large Dancer2 apps to give me ideas on how to set up, structure, and test my own. It can be a useful way of learning a tool if you have clear, well-documented examples to look at.
