I agree with Brian about this.  I have heard of black walnut being used to
treat even heartworm successfully, but it can be dangerous and I wouldn't do
it without a holistic vet.  It has been used to treat worms in humans, and
might very well work with roundworms, but it is not totally benign.  I
understand if taken internally for a long time it will get rid of warts too.
It also gets rid of toenail fungus, applied externally for a VERY long time.

It would be a lot better to get the conventional meds.  Maybe your vet would
tell you what to do on the phone because of the circumstances.
