Christine,
The Alpine mimics the sun and puts out the same level of Ozone into the air
as sunshine does on a sunny day. It is only as harmful as fresh air. I swear
by mine as a dog allergic asthmatic. I couldn't have my babies if I didn't
have an Alpine, and I don't have a doggy odor in my home either. :-)
