Marilyn,
I always check with the owner or store manager before we ever go (by
phone)....since we have just moved here a few months ago, we don't have the
number of places to go into as before, but we go to PetSmart, Home Depot,
Lowes, and 1 of our banks.....before we moved we also went in BlockBuster, 2
local privately owned businesses and all of the stores mentioned above.
Cleo is very nicely behaved in the stores and I think this is definately in
our favor, but I think it is great as she is very sociable and enjoys this
connection with people. Check around, I don't know what area of the country
you are from, but I bet if you talk to the managers you might be suprised at
how many are open to the idea.
Patti Michaels and Cleo (aren't dogs people too???....well I can pretend can't
I???)
