Hi I am back from the Nationals and have been inundated with Email.
I think I partied a bit too much as all I seem to do is sleep since I
got home.
Molly did nothing at the show but less than two weeks before she took
Winners bitch and best Bred By in Breed and then on to a group one the
first day and Best of Winners (No bred by special compitition ) the
second day!!
For the sad part. Just before I left I had to put down my 8 year old
brindle girl Can CH Heather CGC. She had been on Rimidyl and was
seeing a Chiropractor but she was slipping badly again. So I made the
decision. Seems like I came home to an empty house when I got back
from California. We only have Herb and Molly now and I am used to
having 4 danes.
Heather was my dog and the love of my life. I am really really
missing her.. Anyone who has seen my homepage has seen the picture of
Heather and me.
The one thing that has helped was at the Nationals I ran into Anna
Mary Kaufmann.
She is the judge who gave Heather her specialty win in Canada. She is
the first judge I had ever talked to and at the time she was so nice
to me.
When I saw her this time she remembered all about Heather and was
telling me she had just mentioned her recently. Anna Mary told me she
has just gotten a brindle girl puppy and was so excited!! Oh I hope
to be so with it when I get to be her age!!!!
