Pat,
It sounds like you're having a great time, and that your danes are enjoying it
too. One of the things I will be looking for in the pup I chose to keep out of
this current litter, my Int.Ch. Liberty's Chelsea V Vindane CGC, TT X CH Chanoz
A Kind of Magic, is obedience potential. I've had two in the past that I let go,
not knowing how much I wanted another top knotch obedience dog. Grandpa is
retired now, his daughter, Chelseas sister, Contessa is busy helping Chelsea
raise her pups-Chelsea had 11 and Contessa is helping with 4 of them. So I',
ready to get another one in the ring for serious obedience. I have Talia, now 22
months old, but she doesn't like obedience at all-she will be starting agility
soon, maybe that will be good for her, and Scotty, 13 months, but dumb as box of
rocks. I love him to death, and he will probably finish his CH fairly quickly,
but he just doesn't pick things up quickly. Mostly because he just doesn't see
any good reason to. Anyway, CONGRATS on your accomplishments. It takes a lot of
work and patience to get clean steady attentive obedience from a dane, or any
dog.
