Hi all,
I have just recently joined DaneBytes, and my friend Rebecca (whose Titan
looks startlingly like my Jake) says I need to do an intro...so here goes:
I'm Jody Vilandre, my Dane is Jake (some of you might remember me as "Jody
and Jake" from the G*D*M*L*) and we live in Sitka, Alaska. Nothing too
exciting
to tell. Jake is a beloved pet, my first Dane, whom I've wanted since I was
12 years old. I'm 41, Jake is 3, and we share our home with Molly, a 12-year
old toy poodle, Don, my hubby, Cody, a 9-year old two-legged kid, and Mandy,
my 19-year old daughter.

Anyway, I've learned that even "doggie" people usually don't "get" Dane
addiction. Jake's the only Dane in this tiny town, and people who know me
just shake their heads ("that's the biggest damned dog I've ever seen.....do
you let him in the house????"). See? They just don't get it.
