The puppy is actually VERY lean but leggy and growing maybe a little too fast She was raised on Adult Formula Diamond as were all of her littermates. In fact there were two litters born a couple of weeks apart and everyone is fine except Breezy. So it's not accellerated growth. I give her a triple enteric coated aspirin before she goes to bed at night, 500mgm MSM, a Calcium citrate compound and vitamin c-complex in the morning. She is doing lots better, I think with the addition of lots of sunshine and fresh air...where she grew up is in the woods with not much sun coming through the trees. I also added bromelain to the nightly aspirin last night since reading that it's a superior anti-inflammatory. Before she came to me she was restricted to the house for two weeks and I think it did more harm than good. But I am not a vet. That's just my observation, but thank you for responding Karen.
