Well, our secret santa gift arrived today. Wow, all the danekids were
so excited, especially Arnie. He couldn't believe it when I put the box
away in a safe place! I can't wait to open it either. Receiving this,
and so many lovely cards has been just the tonic after a very bad
weekend here, the starring feature of which was a tornado which levelled
everything except the house. Fortunately, my inner voice was working
overtime and I left work early and got home ten minutes before the
unexpected storm hit and carted the day kennels off to the next
district! So the danes are all safe, I have a broken finger, but
otherwise, apart from contemplating a very lean Christmas, I feel
incredibly lucky.
