Posted by: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Well, tonight was the night for my first meeting. I arrived 20 minutes early! I spent those extra minutes speaking with the director. What a nice man! In the meeting, he went over what they expect from their volunteers. Actually what I would call common sense and good manners! And then here's the clincher. Guess what came into the society yesterday? You got it! An 8 month old Dane! I don't have the specifics on this pup. The director has him fostered at his house. I offered any help he would need and made sure he has my number if he has any questions or concerns about caring for a Dane. I followed up with an email when I got home.
