I ran this on FreeBSD 4.10
autoconf259 && gmake
And the end result was:
gmake: *** No rule to make target [EMAIL PROTECTED]@', needed by `.depend'.
Stop.
It looks like adding "--disable-git" to ./configure may solve that for me.
If it is supposed to fail in this case, it would be nice if the error message
could go ahead and tell me that I might want to use "--disable-git" if I don't
need that functionality.
