Could someone also look at the time it takes to record patches?  Since my
upgrade to 1.0.4pre2 I've noticed that darcs takes longer to actually record
the patches (the interactive part of selecting patches to record seems to maybe
faster than it used to be).  I'm not all that convinced that it's due to the
upgrade, but I can't think of anything else that would cause the slow down. I
should break out a copy of stable and try it for comparison. My repo is a huge
600MB+, but 'darcs record' in the past was always something I could count on to
be rather quick as long as my patches were sanely sized.
