I'm surpised no one has responded to this. I think it's an interesting
idea. However, doesn't OOo already have a feature to managing storing
and viewing historical revisions of a file? 

Would the idea that an OOo doc could be a part of a larger darcs-managed
project, but the OOo diffs would be smaller in size and look more
sensibe?
