Hi, hope I'm doing the right thing by raising a ticket here.
The install script for darcs 1.0.3 appears to change the permissions on
existing directores that it installs to, which is naughty. My
/usr/local/bin was 2755 (ie sgid bit set) but got changed to 0755 by the
installer. Ditto /usr/local/man/man1. I think that if the destination
directory exists its permissions should not be touched.
Quick question while I'm here -- is there a summary anywhere of the
changes between 1.0.3 and the latest dev version? Cheers.
