Hi,
I just enterede #darcs on freenode because I just wanted to know if
there was any problems at all running darcs on windows. I was told that
there are minor 'workaroundable' ones. Friendly zooko directed me to a
section in the wiki. I enterede the beatyfull url wiki.darcs.net and
within a second or so I got totally confused.
I realized that the wiki is halfly translated to danish which seems to
face someone who browses the wiki from a .dk host. I desperately scanned
the page for 'Choose language ...' button somewhere, but I couldn't find
it. I tried to use the search thingy in the upper right corner, but I
just got more confused because danish, english, german etc. showed up.
I went back to #darcs and asked for the direct url to the page zooko
wanted me to consult. Finally I found what I needed.
It may be easier to make the default language for the wiki english and
give the opportunity to change language to anything one might want (or
don't want :-)). That, I think, will be far better than asuming that I
want danish and english in one big mess.
And finally, sorry. I know someone has done a job translating the text
to danish and I really admire the work. All I would like you guys to
consider, is to make the default language english for any visitor and
eventually offer an opportunity to change language (but a 'warning' that
the content may not be fully translated will be adequate, I think).
