My only concern about this change (which definitely sounds like a good
idea) is that it may break some "tricky" way of using darcs.  For this
reason, I don't think this change is appropriate for darcs 1.0.4.  So far,
everything I've imagined it breaking hasn't turned out to be the case on
further thought (darcshive, sudoers, etc), but I wonder if somewhere
someone's made darcs on their server be a clever script that won't handle
the --repodir option.
