I tried this patch for a while and I got a lot of empty
darcs-record-nn files although I didn't try to write a single
long comment. I have the habit of interrupting records with
Ctrl-C, and that seems to leave an empty darcs-record-nn file.
I'm getting the same results. I didn't know what was causing the
files, but they worried me quite a bit. I was starting to think I
was going to corrupt my repo.
