New submission from Edwin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: When --external-merge is used for a pull, darcs will copy the repository about four times in the process, even if the external merging tool is never actually needed. I reported this a while back ( http://www.abridgegame.org/pipermail/darcs-users/2005-December/009112.html ), saying that I couldn't reproduce it on a small repository. Looking into it again, I've found that it does in fact always do it, but in a small repository the folders were being deleted before Windows noticed that they were there, so I never saw them.
Given that, the patch I supplied at the time is less of a dodgy hack than I thought it was, so I'd like to resubmit it as a siggested fix for this.
