I have no experience with Haddock, but my experience with Javadoc is
that I prefer to read the sources than the Javadoc-generated stuff.
When reading the comments in the sources, the Javadoc markup just gets
in the way.
So I'd rather people didn't use any Haddock markup, but rather wrote
legible comments in the source. (I think your recent patch, Eric,
where I criticised the comment layout, is a case in point.)
But I realise this is just an old man mumbling about the good old
times, and how when I was a bairn we used plain text with none of that
fancy markup thing.
(In other words, I don't feel strongly about this issue, I'm just
waiting to see a consensus in favour of this patch emerge before I
apply it.)
