Dear darcs developers,

As you might have noticed, I am in the process of importing the bugs
from the old bugtracker, so please expect a steady trickle of mail
from the new bugtracker for the incoming bugs.

I apologise for the potential spaminess of this. Please shout
if I'm starting to be a bother; perhaps we can work something out.

The process is going to be rather slow, probably no more than 10 bugs a
day (there are around 200 bugs to look at). I intend to do this in the
dead spots of my day where I am bored, but lack the time or mental
energy to commit to anything substantial. This means prolonging the
spam agony, but then again, maybe this bug throttling will be useful for
the community. It should give us a chance to have a look at some of the
things that interested darcs users in from 2004 to 2005.

I will not attempt to do this import automatically. My belief is that
the bugs are now so old (> 1 yr) that what they most require is basic
triage, that is, having a human being look at them and figuring out if
they are still relevant. So I suspect that the time we would save in
doing an automatic import would not be worth the effort. However, if
you wish to implement a RT -> Roundup import, I'm all ears.

Cheers,
