New submission from Frank McIngvale <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

This is a followup to my bug report (Issue #468). I received an email from
the Ext2IFS developer, confirming that it is a bug in Ext2IFS, so this bug
can be closed. See email below.

thanks,
Frank

Hello,

If examined the issue that you have reported.
I couldn't figure out the exact reason for failing of recording the
example file by DARCS, but I figured out that it is obviously caused
by Ext2 IFS 1.10c.
When try the current build of Ext2 IFS 1.11 from the development
branch, the issue does not appear and DARCS works fine. (Ext2 IFS 1.11
will be released soon when it is finished.)
I guess it is related with a bug of Ext2 IFS 1.10c: It does not supply
a set FILE_ATTRIBUTE_NORMAL flag as a file's attributes if there is
not any other attribute flag set.

Please could you also pass this mail to DARCS's developers so they
won't waste their time with considered issue.

Kind regards,
Stephan Schreiber
