I haven't had the time to figure this out a bit better, but latex2html
is complaining about files manual/TMP/styles and manual/TMP/darcs not
being present (relative to the build directory root). And it is
certainly right about that. TMP contains a number of dbm files
(.dir/.pag pairs), but none with names resembling 'styles' or 'darcs'.
In Gour's case, his latex2html turned out (discussed off-list) to have been
broken by a perl upgrade and re-emerging latex2html fixed the problem.
