If you commit from a CVS sandbox to CVS, and then 'cvs update', no
changes are made to your sandbox, because you already have the most
up-to-date version.

Our project is in CVS still, but I do most of my work in darcs.  I have
to be able to pull in changes from other programmers, and they need to
be able to get mine.  So we have darcs originated and CVS originated
changesets.
