Hello, I would love to use darcs to mirror some large CVS repositories (e.g., FreeBSD-src, FreeBSD-ports, etc). However so far I have either not been able to because of scalability issues with darcs itself (i.e., huge one-time commit doesnt work too well) or with the conversion tool (e.g. tailor barfs with a "MemoryError" when inspecting the history[1]).
Has anyone been able to do this reliably, and if so, how? I'm not too worried about two-way synching atm, since this would be mostly to maintain local changes while keeping the master repos up-to-date through CVS. [1] I suppose it might be a python vm issue, because this seems to happen even if memory is not actually exhausted (no or very large resource limits, and not actually running out of virtual memory). -- / Peter Schuller, InfiDyne Technologies HB PGP userID: 0xE9758B7D or 'Peter Schuller <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>' Key retrieval: Send an E-Mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web: http://www.scode.org _______________________________________________ darcs-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.abridgegame.org/mailman/listinfo/darcs-users
