I see you are using Exim. I've written a few scripts which make it possible u to reject non-subscriber postings at the SMTP level, possibly after some RBL checks: <http://www.enyo.de/fw/software/exim/mailman-smtp-reject.html> Since anyone can subscribe to bypass the filter, you can run fairly aggressive anti-spam checks.
