Hello,
I've recently decided to start using Darcs for my projects and I'm
trying to setup email piping for the most part this has been successful
but my patches keep been rejected.
Some things you need to know:
I have tried this on two server both failed
Both run RHEL3 and Exim 4.52
I'm working in a shared hosting environment (no root access)
I'm using the statically linked binary from CarpetCode
If pipe the email to:
| /home/source/darcs apply --reply [EMAIL PROTECTED] --repodir
/home/source/public_html/repos/test
It works and the patch is applied but its open to possible abuse and if
I use a manually uploaded patch (signed) with the following command in SSH
$ /home/source/darcs apply --reply [EMAIL PROTECTED] --repodir
/home/source/public_html/repos/test \
--verify
/home/source/public_html/repos/test/_darcs/prefs/allowed_keys \
/home/source/patch.txt
This works too and the patch is applied but as soon as I put "--verify
/home/source/public_html/repos/test/_darcs/prefs/allowed_keys" into the
piped command it rejects the patch with this message "The following
patch was either unsigned, or signed by a non-allowed key, or there was
a GPG failure." at the top of the email but I know it works.
Has anyone else come across this problem?
Thank You,
Richard Banks
