One thing for which I still rely on subversion is tracking vendor releases (not directly from their repository, but from their release tarballs, as described here: http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.1/ch07s05.html In my case, this is mostly for keeping local customizations, things that will probably never be incorporated upstream.
I think it's covered in the FAQ: http://darcs.net/DarcsWiki/FrequentlyAskedQuestions#head-536aa639473af7911a3601b20c5ad55d7dfb8a09 although it might not be obvious. So get the first tarball, import it in the darcs repository. For the next tarball just copy _darcs in the directory and record all changes as one patch. Don't forget --look-for-adds in the repord option and make sure to mark binaries. -- Zdravi Korusef [Libor Dener] (: CauCau :) _______________________________________________ darcs-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.abridgegame.org/mailman/listinfo/darcs-users
