In addition to previous answers on how to quote and double quote the pattern, the Unrecord command is a bit special. Try the pattern with Changes instead, to verify it works. Unrecord will first ask you about any patches that depends on patch with [build] in their name, and unless you say Y to unrecord them, you can't (and won't even be asked to) unrecord the depended upon [build] patches.
