if you already recorded the patch, then just "darcs remove" it, that way
it won't be deleted from the local filesystem, but:

1) it will be deleted, if you push the patch to a remote repo

2) if the patch is not recorded then "darcs revert" will delete the file

in such case i usually just edit _darcs/patches/pending manually and
remove the addfile line
