Hi, No time to be more helpful, sorry. Some weak suggestions below.
> ~/darcs/darcs1.0.8 pull http://james.tooraweenah.com/darcs/netrek-server/ > > After I execute this command it takes a good 5 minutes before it comes > back telling me how many patches it's found! This seems a bit slow for > a machine on a T1 line. The following links might be of interest: http://bugs.darcs.net/issue377 http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.version-control.darcs.devel/5464 > darcs failed: user error (Error applying patch to recorded. > Running 'darcs repair' on the target repository may help. > ./Vanilla/aclocal.m4: openBinaryFile: does not exist (No such file or > directory)) That is odd. There is a patch in that repository removing Vanilla/aclocal.m4 which has presumably vanished from your _darcs/pristine. Is there any chance at all that you might have deleted it on accident? I know sometimes I get a little carried away with find and come to regret it when havoc is wreaked accordingly (there is a feature in the works which will make darcs far more resistant to this) Otherwise, it may be worth filing a bug report. > How can I fix my repo? I've never used darcs repair before. By running darcs repair. No arguments, just run it like a regular old darcs command. It reconstructs your pristine cache by applying all patches in sequence. -- Eric Kow http://www.loria.fr/~kow PGP Key ID: 08AC04F9 Merci de corriger mon français.
