I cannot help you with your specific problem, but you may rest assured
that most Darcs users do not experience repository corruption. All the
time I have I have been using Darcs -- since 2004 or so, and across
many non-stable versions -- I have not encountered a single instance
of genuine corruption, just very minor inconsistencies that have been
cured by running "darcs repair" without any loss of data or history.
