I often record "intermediate" forms of a patch, especially if I start making semi-unrelated changes, and then make use of amend-record later to get them into their final form. Since I do not push/pull these patches anywhere else until they're "complete", there aren't really any problems with using amend-record. -- mithrandi, i Ainil en-Balandor, a faer Ambar
