I set up darcs to try it out on a project. Created a darcs2 repository,
tweaked the boring file, deleted & recreated until I got a repository that
included just what I wanted. Did a "get" into a new repository. Worked in
that for a while, recorded several patches and a couple of tags.

When I try to push patches back to the original repository, I keep running
into memory issues. Heap overflows. I found the info online about the
correct syntax for changing the heap size, tried that, and got further, to a
stack overflow. But I don't seem to be able to change the stack size. No
matter what size I set, it reports stack overflow and a stack size of
8000016.

This is on Mac OS X 10.5.3, darcs 2.0.0. What to try?
