Hmm...Maybe I'm misreading the attached file but I think it's been
mangled.  For example:
- -     ./preproc darcs.lhs $(PREPROCHTML) > src/darcs.tex
+       ./preproc darcs.lhs $(PREPROCHTML) >$@

Why does the removed line start with "- -" instead of "-".

Other than that, I think this looks good.
